Probate and Estate Administration

Following a loved one’s death with or without a Will, we aim to deal with the obtaining of Probate or Letters of Administration and the administration of the Estate as efficiently as possible to ensure that the estate quickly and correctly passes to those beneficially entitled.

Lasting Powers of Attorneys ( LPA’s) 

Should you become unable at any stage to look after your own affairs it is imperative to have someone you trust to do it for you. A LPA allows you to have peace of mind to know that the appropriate documentation is in place and Richmond &Co can guide you through the process including the registration of the LPA at the Office of the Public Guardian.

Court of Protection Applications 

In the absence of an LPA , when there is a loss of capacity an application for Deputyship to the Court of Protection is required. A more costly, time consuming and complicated process, Richmond & Co can assist in this process.

Contested Probate Applications

When the provision in a Will is not as expected, nor adequate , or questions arise as to testamentary capacity or intent, Richmond & Co will provide realistic, professional advise and guidance in dealing with the Court process.
